Mood Indigo

Often deemed as the largest cultural fest in all of Asia, Mood Indigo is the collaboration of 140,000+ hearts experiencing something unique. (this number has only been increasing with time!). These four days fly away like seconds, but the memories are engraved in the stones of their minds. You may come alone but you leave with friends and moments to cherish for a lifetime. Time has little consequence in the vibrant environment packed with people from all over the globe. From classical music – with legendary artists like Zakir Hussain and Asha Bhosle or the other extreme of heavy metal in concerts of bands like Haken, you just can’t not fall in love. Those who visited last year will surely have sweet reminiscences of the soul touching concert of Amit Trivedi or the year before that when Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy left a mark on our hearts. Or maybe you love dancing to spine-chilling EDM? The crowd gathered for Sander Van Doorn just couldn’t stop. Mumbai is known as the hub of film industry and honestly, where’s the fun without witnessing faces you only watch on TV. In 2012, Anushka Sharma and Imran Khan awarded the winners of Mr. & Ms. MI competition of the festival. On the Bollywood Nite of the festival Chitrangada Singh and and Arjun Rampal came to promote Inkaar. Last year Akshay Kumar came down to promote his famous movie Padman. Where’s the touch of real joy unless you’ve laughed till it hurts? The performance delivered by none other than Biswa Kalyan Rath was one hell of show. One definitely won’t forget when street magician Chris Korn or Cile the one-man-band left everyone dumbstruck. All said, Mood Indigo is not just an "event", it is an unique emotion which in all honesty can only be experienced. In the perfect blend of different cultures, perhaps for once you truly feel whole.

About Us

Mood Indigo, Asia's largest college cultural festival, has developed over the years into so much more: a melting pot of Indian and global culture, a launchpad for upcoming artists, a showcase of spectacle - where the streets come alive and every step you take is a step towards new experience, where you can never see it all, but what you do see lasts a lifetime, where friendships are born and memories are made into the soft glow of the bonfires. It’s a little bubble in space and time of infinite possibility, the place to be in December; and in short: the best four days of your life.

Our Mission is to herald the start of unique cultural happenings in India and to give a chance to young guns to break new ground on the cultural scene. This is what drives us into our 48th edition, this year.

Embrace yourself for another cultural extravaganza and join us this year from 27th December- 30th December at Mood Indigo!

A Montage of Dreams

Mood Indigo strives every year to create unique and unforgettable experiences for everyone that comes into contact with it. We seek to change perceptions, expand possibilities and serve as a reminder that things are not always as they seem.

Mood Indigo 2018 seeks to serve you an unforgettable journey filled with surreal experiences, mind expanding perception shifts, and an invigoration of the wonder that is the human experience. We hope you will leave the festival with a collection of unforgettable memories that could best be described as ‘A Montage of Dreams’.
